W.I.D.E

The roads in Arang Road are becoming wide.

Haha that's not what I want to talk about.

W.I.D.E was wonderful! It stands for Word Inspiring Discipline Enforcing.

Pastor Victor (who's a great pastor) taught us how to do quiet time, how to read the bible, how to answer questions when people ask why the Bible is great, why is it like to be FREE,etc.

The best part was going to Saberkas. Not to shop lah! We wrote our testimony about how we became a Christian, and what were we going to do at Saberkas? We were going to give our testimony to STRANGLERS! Oops I meant STRANGERS.

May was my partner. When we walked in Saberkas, we really didn't know what to do, where to go. Okay lor target the food court. We went down, and saw our first target (and hoped he isn't a Muslim). NEXT TIME I will NOT care whether he or she is a Muslim or not! I regret for thinking of NOT targeting Muslims.

We walked up to the man,...
May: Umm, hello. I'm May. We're from a church bla bla bla. May I know, what's your name?
Man: Why you wanna know?
May: Oh I was just asking. I want to tell you something.
Man: Sorrysorry not interested =.=
May: Oh it's okay then. Thank you.

We met the other group members and told them what happened. John told us not to be discouraged, since it was just a first try. OKAY next target!  -scan scan scan- MUAHARHAR 2 girls at the rail. We went up to them with my yoyo(and some rehearsing), and May asked her whether she knew how to play the yoyo. She said she can a lil', and she reluctantly took the yoyo, and slooooowly put her finger into the string loop, and I said " No no this isn't a prank" (cuz she looks a little scared!) And we told her that our life also has ups and downs, and it depends who's the one controlling the yoyo(our life). I went on telling her my testimony:
I am from a Christian family and I have a normal Christian life. I go to church every Sunday just like any other Christian kids. When I was 11, my best friend told me the good news of Jesus. When she asked me whether I was sure I can go to Heaven, I realized that I really wasn't sure! She told me God loved the world so much that He sent His son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. God offers us the gift of Heaven and if we believe in Jesus, we can go to Heaven! When she asked me whether I was sure I can go to Heaven again, I said yes!

When I have Jesus in me, all things are possible. For example the spelling bee contest which was held a few days ago. I prayed to God to give me the wisdom and strength and I can really feel Him there helping me all along. Give all the glory to God! And know I gradually have more and more faith in God (a lot more of faith this year) and I know I can depend everything onto God.

We went on talking to more people such as the ear-piercing ladies. We also bought 6 lemon tea drinks and gave them to OKUs, electricians, and toilet workers (calling them toilet people feels rude forgive me God).

When I gave my testimony to a lady toilet worker in BM, I was crying. I don't know why, but I think it's just really uplifting. Have you thought of going into Saberkas, not to shop but to give your testimony to STRANG  ERS? But thank God I still managed to finish my testimony to the lady.

When we went to the top level (stone cafe), we saw a monk selling Buddhist charms to a couple who were eating, and the couple bought it. I was telling May to go up to the couple, but she was hesitating. When we were still thinking whether we should go up to them, the monk came over to US. He offered us the charm, and May WITHOUT hesitating lifted up her hand and said "Jesus loves you." The monk looked at her for a moment and went away.

Still,May decided to go up to the couple. They both listened to her attentively, but the lady kept smiling under her hand.

It was a great experience. It's a great feeling to know that we're doing something for God, for Jesus.

Smile at your own risk.
