Ugly cats, cute cats

What is your first response to:

Eww ugly cat.

Oooof pretty cat.

I was inspired to post about this because one day..

Jiang You (the soy sauce cat) came to our house. 

Me: -something something something-

Mum: But the colours are not very pretty. (in short she meant Jiang You is ugly)

The first thought that came to my mind was, poor cat.

People always say "Go get a pretty cat! Sunday market one very nice!" What about the so-called ugly cats? People dislike them. Do people who say they like cats really like cats, or do they only like, pretty, cute, beautiful kitties?

So the pretty cats are always patted on the head and the ugly cats left behind. Jiang You has been coming to our house several times but it always pretends to not hear me calling her pufft. 

It is the same thing for Susan Boyle. I'm sure most of you have seen the the 1 million hit video. When she stepped out, what came to peoples' mind was "Eww ugly." But when she started to sing, everyone was :|  

It isn't a nice thing to be judgemental. So go pat a not-so-pretty cat today!
