The East Croydon Poem

Twenty odd years have passed
Streams of happy vague memories, rocky moments of regrets
The only fountain that forever lasts
Is Your love, overflowing every minute

Many times I've forgotten You
Distracted by what-I-ought-to-dos
Clouded by temporary pleasures
Yet Your faithfulness endures

As they say
'Our love for you is like the morning dew'
'Our hearts are prone to wander', it doesn't surprise you'
The skeletons in our closets are bare before Your throne
But Jesus' blood redeemed me as Your own

"What love is this, that You gave Your life for me?"
Grace beyond all this world could ever imagine
I'll stumble and fail in my attempt to please
Until the day I'm transformed
