I'm happy that Lydia, Evelyn and Brenda could follow Maybelle and I to watch a Christmas skit tonight. It is a good reminder of the gospel too :)
If we're drowning, we can't pull ourselves out of the water on our own. That's why we need Jesus. We're sinners and can't save ourselves so Jesus, who is sinless, came to 'pull us out of the water'.
Many people in this world do not know the true meaning of life. So we listen to what others tell us life is about. We buy the most expensive car, the latest phone, the best clothes,..we end up writing a story of life that isn't our own.
Jesus is why we celebrate Christmas. Without Christ, there would be no Christmas.
Thank God for the dozens of lives surrendered to Him tonight!
