I Did Something Really Stupid

This. Happened. Yesterday. Morning.

I was awoken by some sounds. Some creatures.

While trying to get into my sleep again, my eyes went WIDE OPEN:

WAITTTTTTT.

I listened again.

!!

I heard

a baby cry, followed by a cat's growl.

Then a baby's cry, then a cat's growl.

Baby's cry. Cat growl.

Baby's cry. grrrrrooooowl.

AAAAH! Suddenly I was just SO AWAKE. I quickly went over to the window.

It was hard to see, but I saw this little yellow thingy that looked like a towel on the grass behind my house. And a cat was sitting beside it, looking at it.

SOMEONE DUMPED THEIR BABY IN OUR GARDEN!!!

I opened my door and ran to my dad's room like someone crazy.

"WHERE'S MUMMY?!" I asked my dad.

"Downstairs."

"THERE'S A BABY IN OUR GARDEN!"

My dad came over with me. When he and I looked down the window again, I suddenly realized what I was staring at.

A cat sitting beside a yellow cat.

My mum said I read too many news about people dumping their babies.

This incident became a laughing stock to my family.
