Drummer Newbie

I had an interest to take up drums quite some time ago but never had the initiative to go for it. I am now taking GREAT drum lessons at S.I.B---------FOR FREE!

Actually I told mummy I wanted to learn drums and she went to ask people about where to take drum lessons. She found one, but it costs RM 80 per month, 1 hour per lesson, and there is only one lesson per week. Bleh.

So, thanks to Rene, now I'm taking drum lessons with her at her church! Taught by Uncle Louis who is a missionary. There, we currently have TWO-HOUR lessons.

So much fun there. I'm grateful we have Christians who are willing to provide drum lessons for free and Uncle Louis is a great teacher too.

Aah, thank God for great music.

I'm taking drums for extra learning, actually, and for fun, but I hope I can also use this skill to serve God at church. I'm not sure when I'll get the chance.

And you know, we can't practise drums if we don't have drums at home and it's impossible for my family to buy a drum set at home. The neighbours would complain too haha.

Aaagh, I hope I can continue to take up drum lessons next year cuz I SHOULD be having KPA in the morning and PBK tuitions in the afternoon , and both activities clash with the drum lessons next year. Aaagh. Maybe I should quit KPA. >)
