Bad news lor.
DSLR, Cameron is gone.
break-in diary 25 Nov 2009
1 something: Mum sending Amy to Elyssa's house. I was sent home to get ready to follow my mum to bank. I took out Cameron to take a picture of a half-dead butterfly.
2:15 pm: We reached bank but realized we didn't bring an important document. Go back home.
2:30 p.m: Found that stuff. Off the bank again. Rain begins.
5:00 pm: Comes back from home. I found out that the half-dead butterfly was CRUSHED by the rain. The wing pieces and her BODY was all over the road. I know this is gross. I went to the door earlier than my mum.
I peeked in and saw our cupboards all open and a lot of things out of their place. I stared for a few seconds before realizing what was happening. "MUMMY WO MEN DE JIA LI MIAN HAO XIANG HEN LUAN!!!!!"
Mum's expression>>> :O With tongue sticking out.
So shocked because we never never never expected a sudden break-in. We LEFT home at 2:30 p.m OKAY! And there was a rain! These thieves 趁雨打劫。
Mummy opens door--
Our whole house was ransacked. How they came in? They CUT / SAWED the window grills in the living room.
P.S: Actually I'm writing this whole thing as a diary to myself.
Things gone:
1. DLSR and all lens
2. Two digital cameras.
3. Piano book bag.
4. CORDLESS PHONE! WHYYY!?! And they didn't bring the "phone stand" away, which makes the phone useless anyway.
5. Two luggage bags which included Ribena, Nestum, Milo and stuff to be brought to Alan: Long-sleeve shirt, Socks. Have to re-buy now.
6. Jewellry, some money.
7. Amy's lousy handphone which was supposed to be exchanged by my antique phone.
8. Mum's facial stuff
9. LCD projector
10. ................rice cooker.
11. [UPDATED] Guitar.
They literally ransacked the whole house except toilets.
I wonder why no one SAW people walking around suspiciously with 2 huge luggages, a Toastmasters bag, a ricecooker and a GUITAR.
I'm actually now looking at ALL of my clothes on the floor. The thieves kicked them out of the cupboard. Still haven't clean up all of the mess because my mum reported to the police and they need to come "investigate".
My mum quite stressed lah, she has to call people to fix the grills, clean up the mess etc..
Actually yesterday we saw a mysterious lady sitting near our neighbour's house looking at our house with an umbrella. When we passed by her in our car, we saw that her face was kinda weird. Like the skin was peeled off or something. My mum called our neighbour who's my piano teacher and she said she might be one of the students' kakak. So okay, nevermind lor. And today this thing happens. Neighbour also saw an unknown car nearby too.
We also need sometime to re-adjust back to normal lor.
I must say we have to be REALLY thankful to God even though we lost quite a lot.
FIRST, we were all safe. Amy NEARLY NEARLY NEARLY was going to be left at home. Imagine what would happen.
SECOND, no important documents were gone!
Thank God. =]
Oh by the way, Amy, the pictures I took of you using Cameron are not transferred and still in the camera. So I think the thieves are ogling the pictures liao.
Ogle is the word I learnt from Rene and Andalu.
I told my dad I don't expect a replacement camera soon. Cuz now my mum has to use some more $$$$ more this and that, I don't wanna buy something that is a want and not a need. So I can concentrate more on PMR lor.
I wonder when will be the next time I use a DLSR.
Smile at your own risk.
