Black Out 2

Yes, as you know there was a black out in Kuching last night.

This is what TheBorneoPost said about it:

Sarawak powerless for about 3 hours last night

ALMOST the whole of Sarawak was powerless for about three hours yesterday evening in what could be one of the state's worst electricity supply failures in recent years.

The power outage could best be described as a rolling blackout as it happened in waves starting from about 6:15pm to 6.40pm in Kuching and Sibu divisions.
It reached Miri about 7.30 pm.Some parts of Bintulu were struck about 9 pm.
The power returned intermittently in several parts of Kuching and Sibu starting about 7.40pm but within half an hour MINUTES, it went out again and people found themselves wishing that they had not put out their candles.( I was one of the victims)
Electricity supply went back to normal in Miri and Sibu about 8:35pm. Kuching city centre, however, remained in darkness throughout the outage till 9:30 pm 11+ pm .

I was in KFC when there was this black out. And then we went to FoodAvenue to have dinner. It was already getting darker and darker. Hawkers had to use torchlights to cook! Yes, and I even heard one of the hawkers whistling the Silent Night tune. =) how sweet silent.

Last night was indeed a Silent Night. You know, Kuching City was like, dead. It seemed like time stopped. And we were the only survivors. But on the road, I still saw things that looked like cars moving around flashing lights.

Come to think of it, I think it was silent because nobody could switch on TV to watch..aaaah, how smart I am.

I was reaaaaally bored last night and then I wanted to play piano. Bringing the torchlight to the piano, my sis said "You still can play piano meh?" Oh yaaaaa. No electricity hoh. Stupid me. Hahahahaha.

Silent Night, Holy night,..
